The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.

Role Description:

Responsible for analyzing and driving Information Products for all inventory for the Inventory Logistics Services product lines and divisions as well as for the overall maintenance of the forecasting and inventory planning system in order to maintain proper inventory levels, inventory mix and inventory turns.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Services:Work with Product Line Managers to determine the overall inventory strategy to support the marketing plan.Develop and produce various information products and reports to assist the President and the product groups in the analysis and performance of existing inventory.Analyze division and product line operating trends / metrics including forecasting aged inventory levels and recommend actions.Assist the product lines in market value Vs cost analysis and aged inventory review.Develop measurements to monitor overall stock and service level.Produce monthly metrics to measure vendor performance, forecast accuracy, and replenishment activity.Monitor and report on division reject and scrap levels and drive resolution process.Research and resolve discrepant inventory issues.Identify weaknesses in current system and drive process improvements.Responsible for OEM price tape loads and data integrity, including acquiring rights to illustrated parts catalogs and technical data and coordinating with Information Systems to load the information into IMOPS Distribution Planning Procurement.Manage and develop the forecasting process in FGS to maintain right product mix.Develop and monitor replenishment plan process to maximize inventory turns and eliminate stock-outs.Responsible for the overall maintenance of the FGS database.Provide leadership in developing purchasing strategies.Train planners to ensure FGS forecasting, and planning methods are utilized effectively.Monitor daily operations of buyers for potential issues experienced during material sourcing.Provide buyers and planners with on-the-job training for operating procedures, related to their duties.All other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Solid inventory planning and forecasting experience.Ability to build strong relationship with vendors and product teams.Ability to handle various types of projects.Strong computer skills in Access and Excel. Preferred:IMOPS expertise Experience:10 years related experience.
