Job Overview Do you have an in date Fork Lift with counterbalance licence? Would you like a site based role?  If the answer is yes we have a role available within our waste team. Main duties on site is to keep up the waste collection schedules as agreed by the client To ensure correct segregation of waste materials Keeping the waste area clean and tidy at all times To arrange for the collection of waste materials from the relevant registered waste carriers, make sure paperwork is completed as per waste regulations. Working Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 2pm. Optional Overtime as and when requested by client

Main Duties

The main duties of the role include: -

Daily waste collections as per set agreed schedule. To ensure the clients segregation targets are met and highlight any non conformances to Supervisor/Management. To communicate with the Mitie Waste helpdesk to arrange delivery and collections of waste skips. To ensure Waste paperwork is correctly completed for each and every delivery/collection. To carry out cleaning of the factory areas on a weekly basis. To follow Health and Safety procedures. Adhere to Risk assessment and method statements . To report all accidents and near misses. To observe visiting sub-contractors staff and to report all non-conformances or safety violations to management. To complete all documentation accurately and on time. To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal  What we are looking for Must have a nationally recognised forklift licence with experience of operating a counterbalance truck in a factory environment. To be aware of legal waste requirements and the requirements of ISO14001.
