About the role
The Waste Processing Technician II (WPT II) is a mid-level role responsible for processing and managing waste streams using specialized equipment and technology. With minimal supervision, this role ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while efficiently handling waste materials.
Position Responsibilities
Comprehend facility permit requirements and ensure all tasks align with safety and compliance standards.
Operate a range of equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, pressure washers, and other tools, per OSHA and company guidelines.
Manage inbound material by off-loading packages, liquid trucks, and containers safely and efficiently.
Conduct QA/QC testing on waste streams, perform lab analysis, and process materials using facility equipment.
Input data into File Maker for accurate tracking and regulatory documentation.
Complete and review paperwork, such as manifests (RPRA), material verification logs, and regulatory compliance records.
Support facility upkeep through general cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1 years’ experience or has completed all Technician I Reworld training
Must have one year of basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and a work order tracking database like Netsuite
One year experience using heavy, light, and handheld equipment (forklifts, power washer and other power tools.).
Physical Demands of the Role
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
Ability to work in confined spaces
Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
Consistently work in various weather conditions
