**Description** The waste water operator adds chemicals as needed, cleans filter screens, washes floor, machinery, and trailers as needed using high pressure hoses. The operator performs preventative maintenance during the down time and monitor the department during the hours of operation. Having the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions, also being able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables is a must. The operator is responsible of maintaining the proper operation of the offal building. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Ability to drive fork lift and yard jockey to move offal trailers (cdl not required) * Adapt to hot/cold weather environments * Ability to work well with others * Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. *Perform other duties as assigned. *Perform PM maintenance in offal/waste water **EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:** High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
