Waste Water Treatment Plant Technician - Immigration Detention Centre

With a new contract commencing in early 2025, we currently have a full-time role available for a Water Treatment Plant Operator to join the Spotless team. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, will be responsible for all duties and responsibilities to the WWT Operator.

ABOUT YOU

Hold a CERT III Water & Wastewater Operations, along with a White Card and a valid Driver's Licence HR Licence, Working at Heights and EWP are highly desirable Knowledge of the Membrane Bioreactor process, and Small Desalination & Brackish Reverse Osmosis systems Ability to handle chemicals in a safe manner Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team

What you’ll bring 

At least 5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment Solid knowledge of safety standards and chemical handling Strong written and verbal communication abilities  Strong adherence to legislative and environmental policies and procedures. Ability to perform basic fitter operations for pump removal and servicing.
