Monitor control panels and adjust valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate flow of industrial wastewater.Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret meter and gauge readings and tests results to determine load requirements. Start and stop pumps to control flow of industrial waste water through treating, settling and sludge press processes. Perform preventive maintenance tasks in waste water treatment area. Maintain log of operations and record meter and gauge readings; such as test results, chemical usage, etc. Collect water samples and conduct laboratory tests on wastewater. Maintain inventory and report usage/needed material to designated personnel. Load and unload hazardous chemicals from truck by means of lift truck and physical handling.   Share responsibility for obtaining and moving chemical/materials for plating operation. Provide backup assistance to the process/laboratory technician. Preparation/loading of hazardous waste shipments. Sign Hazardous Materials / Waste shipping papers.Prepare SMR data for regulatory submittal.Perform weekly hazardous waste inspections as per regulatory requirements.

Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 30 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.00 - $35.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
