Role description:
Arcadis Canada is seeking a Project Manager with Canadian consulting experience in the planning, design, construction and operation of water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance projects for industrial, First Nations and municipal clients. The Project Manager will support business development efforts and will work in close collaboration with our team to deliver projects to clients.
Role accountabilities:
The successful candidate will lead projects and will ensure compliance with the provincial/federal regulations while liaising and building relationships with federal, provincial, and municipal officials and professionals. They will assist client development activities for the municipal and industrial sectors including preparing proposals and support overall business development.
The Project Manager will also assist the design team with application of specific technology, preparing reports, construction plans, specifications, calculations, equipment selection, and cost estimates for various projects, participate in long-term planning and project selection, and provide input into specific technical aspects of individual bids to support the production of high-quality winning bids. They will perform engineering work. Key accountabilities include:
Manage the successful and timely delivery of challenging and multi-disciplinary projects Apply your understanding of regulatory and permitting requirements for a variety of jurisdictions Work closely with our Canadian Team to leverage our technical resources and knowledge for servicing clients Provide the highest quality of service to our clients by possessing exceptional technical and managerial skills in the design, construction, and operations of wastewater facilities and related infrastructure Duties may also include field activities such as field reconnaissance, site investigations and/or site observation activitiesQualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance planning, design, construction and operation. Other key qualifications include:
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada Master’s degree in civil engineering with water/wastewater treatment specialization preferred Experience with industrial and First Nations projects would be an asset. Project Management experience. PMP designation would be an asset.Key Skills:
The successful candidate will have an inclination for involvement in planning, design , construction and operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance infrastructure, interest in participating in regional and/or national professional associations. Experience with First Nations water and wastewater programs is an asset. Other important attributes of this role are:

The salary range for this position is $109,000-178,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
