This person will be to assist with community outreach efforts, water-use assessments, and program development research. Job duties include assisting staff in the preparation and delivery of educational outreach events, engaging with community members at public events, collaboration with other city employees, administration of rebate and incentive programs, and assisting staff with water-use irrigation system assessments. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively with others, educate community members at public events in a manner which is in accordance with the City's core values, be able and willing to work outside, employ good problem solving skills, and develop accurate findings for sprinkler system assessment reports. This position is a great opportunity to gain real world experience in the field of water conservation. Bargaining Unit: Not Represented Fair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-Exempt Work Week: Up to 40 hours/week.
