Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practices regionally and we have a need for an engineering intern in our San Juan office . This position serves in a support role to engineers and project managers on water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. This individual will be a part of a dynamic team and will participate in the design, coordination, and execution of projects for our clients. This individual will both work independently and with peers as part of a team. This position should be a self-motivated professional with a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each project while delivering transformative projects for our clients, in our diverse and fast-paced office.
Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of senior level engineers.
Perform a wide variety of routine assignments which are clearly defined and require the application of standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
Make field trips and conduct field audits.
Independently evaluate the selection and/or modification of standard techniques, procedures, criteria and systems to efficiently meet project goals.
Prepare planning, engineering and/or construction documents, reports, studies, and calculations.

* Enrollment in a degree seeking program in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or another closely related field.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
* Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm
* Relevant coursework or projects
* EIT or on track to obtain
