In the role of Water Operations Technical Advisor, you will be expected to:
Evaluate the performance of advanced purified potable water distribution and aquifer injection well systems. Maintain most up to date knowledge regarding advanced purified water injection well operations best practices and regulatory changes related to water operations.Troubleshoot operational problems in drinking water distribution and aquifer injection well systems.Reviewing technical design reports and memoranda for advanced purified drinking water conveyance and aquifer well injection systems Support staff training in the operation of drinking water injection wells Ensure adherence to all relevant water quality regulations and permits for purified water injection well systems.Identify potential compliance risks and implementing mitigation strategies.This is a part-time, temporary position.
Preferred QualificationsMaintain a current D2 Drinking Water Distribution Certification in the State of CaliforniaDemonstrate five (5) years of active, recent experience in maintaining a potable water distribution and aquifer injection well system.Knowledge of relevant water quality regulations and standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in data analysis software and relevant industry tools.Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentMicrosoft Office product experienceGeneral background-related experience An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We Believe
