Job Description Inframark is growing! We are hiring a Water Operator to join our new team in Jasper, Georgia. **Responsibilities** + Operate water plant, monitoring all equipment and chemicals to ensure water meets applicable standards + Collect and record data for record maintenance and reporting to designated state agencies + Monitor treatment process for compliance by inspecting equipment, monitor conditions, meters, and gauges + Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs of treatment equipment. + Work closely with team members and management to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly + Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance and efficiency **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent experience will be considered. + Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred). Georgia Water Operator’s License required. + Knowledge of regulatory rules, process control techniques, maintenance procedures, and safe practices to efficiently implement and maintain operations. + Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on-call, to support our strict operational requirements. + Ability to follow manual and operating instructions. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the internet. Basic knowledge of water/wastewater operations. + Gives a positive internal and external customer experience. Willing to help others and maintains composure in complicated situations. + Pays attention to detail. Identifies and solves problems. Advances issues accordingly. Checks work for quality. + Balances multiple tasks efficiently while working well with supervision. Takes projects to completion and follows all company policies and SOPs. Physical Demands + Must be able to frequently lift 50-60 pounds; load, unload, and move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
