Primary Purpose

A Water Operator Lvl C possesses a Water Operator license (May be in the process of certification; employment is conditional on passing the certification test.)  Will have at least 1 year of acceptable operating experience. Operates mostly under supervision. $5,000 Sign on Bonus. 3rd Shift - 11pm - 7:30am

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Supervised operation of the water treatment system. Maintenance of water equipment and wells. Performs process control lab work. Adheres to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management related matters. Assists with compliance documentation and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Active Water Operator license or working on certification. 1 year of acceptable operating experience. DE: Recertify every 2 years with completion of 20 hours of approved training within that timeframe. NC: Recertify annually with completion of 6 hours of commission-approved continuing education.
