Role description:
We are actively recruiting for a Senior Account Leader to join and support our client development and account growth within the Resilience UK&I Water team. Collaborating with both internal & external stakeholders, the role will involve five key job purposes such as:
Being a primary point of engagement for Arcadis, focussing on leading and managing client relationships on specific water sector client accounts, establishing Arcadis as a trusted partner. Being a key contributor to the positioning of the Arcadis brand in the market as a capable and innovative consultancy. Champion Water Optimization in its widest holistic sense, connecting Arcadis capability and services with account opportunities. Continuously seek to enhance the business at a strategic and individual level, executing strategy to deliver tangible results for the Arcadis business. Providing inspiring leadership to our account team and support them to realise their potential.Role accountabilities:
Develop and implement account plans in line with Arcadis UK business objectives to drive growth. Develop and grow account plan target (revenue, bookings and margin) to meet or exceed planned targets. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the client and the water sector to identify key trends and emerging opportunities. Contribute towards, leading where appropriate, local and global pursuits, contributing to bid/no-bid decisions, and leading client pitches/presentations to ensure successful closing of pursuits. Work collaboratively with Solution Leaders to manage the targeting and tailoring of Arcadis value propositions into commercially viable propositions for the account, demonstrating value-creating outcomes for the client. Capture locally, and make available for the account team globally, track record, case studies, sales collateral relationship history and delivery lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement in client relationship management. Manage the local pipeline and feed opportunities into the global account pipeline to ensure an optimal flow of pursuits to achieve local and global targets. Develop senior relationships throughout Arcadis UK to foster cooperation and to maximise opportunities to cross-sell and trade-up. Develop and leverage a network of enduring relationships at Board level and with strategic buyers across the client locally to understand their business needs, position Arcadis UK as a trusted partner and contribute to the global account client relationship development. Promote continual improvement in SHE performance across the business, including any personal targetsQualifications & Experience:
Demonstrable experience of:
Applying independent judgement and responsibility in leading growth activities in a pressured environment. Providing inspiring leadership to mixed teams from varied disciplines, background and culture. Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues. Managing multi-disciplinary account teams to deliver winning pursuits of significant value. Building credible relationships with senior leaders (internally and externally). Exhibiting the leadership qualities and behaviours sought in the Arcadis Global Leadership Model.Candidate should possess:
A broad understanding of the regulated water and water management sectors, challenges and opportunities including competitor landscape and regulatory landscape.
