Duties include but are not limited to Perform field operations. Install/remove water meters, read meters, perform utility locates, operate valves, flush fire hydrants, etc. Operate and monitor water treatment plant and various remote sites. Obtains samples and perform applicable laboratory analysis. Capable of reading and interpreting all gauges, graphs and other SCADA devices used in treatment facility. Perform maintenance work as required. Read maps, mechanical and electrical drawings. Work with and around various chemicals associated with water industry. Understand and comply with company procedures as they relate to area of responsibility. Cleaning at company facilities as directed by supervision. Other duties as assigned. This position is eligible for service watch. Physical Requirements Include Drive company vehicle in all weather and light conditions. Must have valid Indiana license. Work outside year round. Walk several blocks on uneven ground. Lift/load various chemical bags, inventory fittings and tools (50 -  60 pounds).  Operate valves that may require considerable pushing/pulling Verbal communications – face to face and via telephone/radio. Verbal communications – face to face and via telephone/radio. Loosen/tighten bolts. Stoop, twist, turn, bend, squat, kneel, climb ladders, climb steps. Note The current work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM with unpaid lunch break.   This position will primarily perform plant operations.   This position is eligible for Service Watch Rotation.
