DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will play a crucial role in environmental protection, specifically concerning the statewide Water Quality Management (WQM) and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) initiatives. Your duties will include the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of statewide field operations assessment activities to ensure consistent, timely, and effective execution of the program's goals. The primary objective is to support the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in maintaining facility compliance with the federal Clean Water Act, the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law, and their associated regulations to safeguard public health and the environment. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment + Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. + Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
