At Jacobs, we don’t settle - we’re always looking beyond to raise the bar and deliver with excellence. We are looking for a client-focused Project Manager to support our New Mexico water/wastewater treatment and conveyance team.
As a key member of our Albuquerque team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as the Project Manager for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects - planning, directing, monitoring, and/or delivering all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning. As Project Manager, you will lead a multidiscipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. You will have direct access to Jacobs’ well-known, vast network of technical specialists and senior project managers to support your success and career advancement. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) in New Mexico, or the ability to obtain within 1 year
• Requiring a minimum of 10 years' experience in the industry with an emphasis in varied range of wastewater, water treatment, or conveyance related projects, and experience in managing projects.

• Ability to serve as the technical liaison/leader between the project owner and the design team
• Business development, interpersonal, and networking skills that can be combined with the significant resources that we have available across Jacobs to gain market share
• Strong technical skills in water or wastewater engineering and project management are required.
• An understanding of the administrative, contractual, financial and business aspects of operations is required.
• Strong writing skills, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills are desired
