In the role of Water Resources (Civil) Coordinator/EIT, we'll count on you to:Assist Senior Engineers and Project Managers in performing engineering tasks that may include preparing studies, designs, engineering recommendations, improvement plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and presentations.Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.Assist with and support AutoCAD production, Civil 3D design, and development of improvement plans.Support development of quantities using a combination of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and hand calculations.Attend and participate in occasional site visits and/or field meetings. Attend and participate in project meetings with internal staff and external clients or teaming partners.Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills. Be able to clearly describe work in written reports, presentations, technical memos, meeting notes, and emails.Have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, with guidance from other engineers, and as a part of a team.Be able to follow instructions, ask questions, and resolve challenges in a team environment through collaboration and dialogue.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred QualificationsEngineer in Training (EIT) certificateCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldExperienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling softwareSelf-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $69,284.00 - $93,737.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
