Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Water Resources EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state, and local municipalitiesFocus on hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, field and desktop data collection, data assimilation, design calculations, and development of construction documents, technical reports, and presentation materialsFocus on projects including flood control, flood risk, hydraulic and river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems and levee design and assessment, dam facility design and assessment, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues and non-point source loading and point source design, and watershed assessmentsProduce design calculations, draft technical reports, and perform water resources studiesPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related field2 years of industry experienceProfessional experience or educational specialization in water resources related fieldsEIT preferred, candidate hired without their EIT will be given the title of "Coordinator" and encouraged to obtain their EIT for career progression.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldExperienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling softwareSelf-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of taskAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
