Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation and Site Civil team, of the U.S. Central Sector, based in Chicago, Illinois office and have the opportunity to work on hydraulic/hydrologic analyses and designing appropriate drainage systems in close coordination with Roadway, Site Civil, and Structural Engineers.

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Assist with on-site inspections and limited field assignments. Utilize CAD programs to assist in the preparation of plan drawings and details. Perform rudimentary calculations under the direction of a licensed engineer. Assist with preparation of technical specifications and reports. Perform material quantity take-offs. Organize design calculations. Assist project teams in meeting deadlines as needed.
 

What your experience looks like

Experience with computer aided drafting and Microsoft Office products Punctuality and maturity – ability to work with minimal direction. Ability to work outdoors for limited field assignments. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment.
