Verdantas is seeking a Water Resource Staff Engineer II. This position will be located at our Folsom, CA office.
Responsibilities: Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.) Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses Prepare figures, maps, and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software Prepare technical reports and memoranda Communicate well with other staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers Previous experience desired: Potable Water system design (WTPs, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks) Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipelines and lift stations) Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans, hydraulic modeling) Flood Control System Design (levee design, ULDC compliance)
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university 2-4 years of related experience EIT required and working towards a PE Experience using AutoCAD/ Civil 3D requiredExperience with ArcGIS, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Win TR-55, Win TR-20, HydroCad, and Excel is all beneficial Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
