Verdantas is seeking a **Water Resource Staff Engineer II** . This position will be located at our **Folsom, CA** office.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.)
+ Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses
+ Prepare figures, maps, and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software
+ Prepare technical reports and memoranda
+ Communicate well with other staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers
Previous experience desired:
+ Potable Water system design (WTPs, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks)
+ Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipelines and lift stations)
+ Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans, hydraulic modeling)
+ Flood Control System Design (levee design, ULDC compliance)
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
+ 2-4 years of related experience
+ EIT required and working towards a PE
+ Experience using AutoCAD/ Civil 3D required
+ Experience with ArcGIS, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Win TR-55, Win TR-20, HydroCad, and Excel is all beneficial
