Water Treatment Operator Trainee – Deerfield, MO
This is an hourly position.
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Job Description:
Maintain water treatment department, including but not limited to the following:Maintain boiler system, including daily blow downs of boilerMonitor SIMS systemMonitor ChillersMonitor Nalco system and Nalco chemicalsMonitor water levels, including treatment of incoming water with chlorine & regulating pumpMaintenance of Ultra Filters, including CIP & maintenance washMaintain the fire water tank, fire pump system, & fire hydrant testingChange chemical totes as neededClean inlet filters dailyCustodial duties for the water treatment buildingMonitor & maintain cooling tower water supplyMonitor RO System, reviewing/monitoring hardness levels at the RO, regenerate softener as neededAir compressor maintenance, cleaningCheck AEDs on a regular scheduleSome general plant maintenance duties may also be requiredIn addition –applicant must be willing to work overtime. Attendance and punctuality is required, along with the ability to work independently in an organized manner.
