Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vertical Director - Water to lead our water-focused initiatives across Europe. This high-profile position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to drive innovation and growth in the water industry, leveraging our advanced power electronics and drive solutions.
The Head of Water Vertical will be responsible to lead, drive and enable strategy execution and sales plans in EU. As EU business expert, the head of Vertical will support or build and elaborate local plans for all focused countries, secure resource and competence, lead execution plans on key customers, be responsible for development of selected international accounts, cross countries and regions.
The Head of Water Vertical will be also responsible for building high level relationships at some key global customers and associations, develop contracts and secure execution.
The Head of Water Vertical will be key sales representative and enabler for EU of our divisions and Product Line organization. Direct report to head of core vertical head EMEA
You are known as an empowering leader getting a strong background in leadership and manager positions, being market and customer passionate in Water business, recognized for your excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, highly effective in matrix organizations, capable of being both visionary and hands on when needed, and ideally expert in Drive applications!
Location is flexible but due to key customers location, preference for France close to international connections to main EU countries.

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Act as the EU vertical head, leading and challenging sales strategy execution, aligning and defining of key priorities with sales companies and divisions to secure strong results and achievements acting as “hands on” sales expert
Be the EU Water market and customer expert to actively lead, coach, and support the country sales units to find new growth opportunities.
Lead (account ownership) for key customer cross countries and cross regions focus (OEMs, Channel Partners, Consultants, EPCs etc.)
Lead competence sales expert development related to Water vertical: value proposition, success stories, sales tactics
Act and lead by example on key customers actions and development
Accountable on EU results: topline and profitable growth for all channels
Ensure that sales resources are leveraged and deployed in-line with the strategy.
Develop tactical and operational sales & marketing plans with the countries by segment, application, channel and customers
Engage with all stakeholders in the division/PL to secure a successful execution of the local strategy.
Drive and lead growth initiatives
Support the sales units on co-creation activities with existing and new customers.
Background & SkillsMS degree or higher in engineering, or a related field
Ideally minimum 8 years in Leadership/management position as country head or regional head (International experience)
Ideally some years of experience in Water electrical products as pump, compressor, Drives,….
Minimum 5 years in Water industry
Leadership skills
Customer/commercial leadership experience and ability to facilitate customers interactions with credibility, confidence and Think Danfoss mentality
Proven track record of developing and executing sales & strategy plans
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
