HDR is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater EIT to join our growing Water Business Group in Ontario, Canada. This position will require an individual with a passion for challenges and working across regional boundaries while identifying and pursuing opportunities which will support HDR’s long-term growth initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Water/Wastewater EIT, we'll count on you to:
Assist our Senior/Intermediate Engineers preparing municipal infrastructure projects, studies and design, contract documentation and graphic presentationsProvide project engineering and task managementCollect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos, and public forumsPerform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and proceduresPerform administrative duties associated with project management for projectsWork independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projectsPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications
3 years of related experience in civil or environmental projectsProficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, AutoCAD, GIS, MicroStation a plusRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldEngineer In Training (EIT) certificateInterest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systemsExperience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production toolsMicrosoft Office experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We Believe
