In the role of Water/Wastewater Designer/EIT, we'll count on you to:Prepare concept designs, preliminary engineering, study-level reports and technical memoranda for water andwastewater treatment facilitiesPrepare final/detail designs, including design calculations, preparation of drawings and specifications, engineer's opinionof probable construction cost, conduct/ facilitate quality control reviews and provide bid phase assistance for various waterand wastewater treatment projects under the guidance of a Project Manager/EngineerProvide construction phase support, including but not limited to, review of shop drawings and request for information,change order preparation/review, star-up/commissioning support, process performance troubleshooting, etc.Assist in pilotingPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsEIT or ability to obtain within 6 calendar months. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Water/Wastewater Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionMS preferredPiloting experiencePreference given to local candidatesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field Interest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systemsExperience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production toolsMicrosoft Office experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
