In the role ofWater/WastewaterCoordinator, we'll count on you to:

Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalitiesCreate detailed designs of water / wastewater treatment systems and collection systems or water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities under instruction from the Project EngineerPrepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentationsSupport projects in the construction phase, including submittal reviews, design clarifications, and construction management / resident engineer servicesAssist the Senior Engineer with engineering studies, designs, contract documentation preparation, technical report writing, and graphic presentationPerform site layout, calculationsPerform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and proceduresComplete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variablesPerform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/treatment projectsWork independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projectsOther duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsMaster's degreeEngineer in Training (EIT) certificateCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldInterest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilitiesAutoCAD and/or MicroStation experienceMicrosoft Office experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $71,341.00 - $109,681.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
