The Tetra Tech Denver Office consists of a 50-person collaboration of dedicated, talented and passionate colleagues with a keen interest in serving the Colorado water sector. The successful candidate will actively participate in the design and coordination of water and wastewater projects for the Denver Water/Wastewater group. Typical work will include a wide variety of municipal, state, and local government projects involving water and wastewater treatment facilities, conveyance systems, storage, and pump stations.
The candidate will utilize their education, with guidance from other scientists and engineers to assist in scientific and administrative tasks. The candidate should have the willingness to learn new tasks and will support meaningful work products.
Your Role:
Assist design engineering on a wide variety of municipal water and wastewater projects. Collect and enter data using Microsoft and other database applications for technical evaluation. Interpret data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance. Assist with report production, quality control, and file management activities. Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member. Conduct research for ongoing projects, including review of regulations and permits, work plans, or other documents. Work with the CAD designers for markups of project drawings and quality assurance compliance. Edit and write design reports for review by clients and state agencies.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering; MS preferred 0-3 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the municipal engineering sector Licensed EIT or ability and interest to obtain EIT and/or be in active pursuit of registration Be highly motivated and a high-performance team member Knowledge of data collection and tabulation in preparation of scientific documents. Strong technical writing skills. Ability to format and produce reports as well as the ability to maintain file management. Attention to detail is required. The successful candidate will work as a problem solver, will have an interest and ability to work in a collaborative manner, and will have the flexibility to adapt to changing situations. Must be able to manage time well and work on tasks as part of a larger project team. In addition to English, fluency in other languages will be considered a plus. Candidate should be self-motivated and able to take directions. Salary Range: $72,000k - $83,000, depending on experience
