Job Title: Water/Wastewater Engineer

Acalent is looking to hire water/wastewater engineers with a PE license to join our team in Utah!

Job Description

A growing Utah-based civil engineering firm seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and experience in municipal water design or treatment. The successful candidate will lead a team of three Engineers in Training (EITs) on a five-year, $90 million project to replace a 36-inch municipal water line. Responsibilities include managing booster pump stations, water tanks, water line replacement, and having a comprehensive understanding of hydraulics and water modeling. Experience with lift stations and treatment in either wastewater or culinary water is required. Proficiency in water modeling software such as Aquatwin is essential.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Midvale, Utah.

Work Environment

Preferred in-office work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with 1.5x pay for overtime. Offices located in Ogden, Salt Lake, Midvale, or Springville. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
