Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the evaluation, planning, and design of water and wastewater infrastructure, as well as strong client relationship management skills. This role involves significant responsibility in developing and enhancing client relationships and leading municipal design projects.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and study storm water, potable water, and wastewater pipelines and pumping systems.Prepare and review master planning documents for potable water and wastewater infrastructure.Plan and design drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities.Enhance and develop client relationships through effective communication and project management.Collaborate with project engineers and manage CAD staff working on assigned projects.Essential SkillsProfessional Engineering License or eligibility to obtain one.Extensive experience in water/wastewater systems and municipal design.Proficiency with IDOT, IEPA, IDNR, and local project standards.Strong communication skills with a customer-facing focus.Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.8+ years of industry experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with BioWin, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.Work Environment
The role requires 80% office work with occasional travel to meet customers. Typical working hours are from 8am to 5pm. The position involves working closely with project engineers and managing CAD staff. Company fleet vehicles are provided for onsite work. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
