Water/Wastewater Engineer (P.Eng.)
Aplin has partnered with our client, an Alberta-based consulting engineering firm that provides municipal and private industry engineering services for water, wastewater, and reuse water infrastructure to recruit a Water/Wastewater Engineer (P.Eng.).

You will be responsible for various aspects of assessment and design associated with water and wastewater infrastructure including but not limited to water treatment processes, wastewater treatment processes, pumping systems, chemical feed systems, and piping systems.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of studies, pre-designs, and detailed designs as well as assist with construction activities.  Demonstrate expertise in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure.Work with a multi-discipline project team.Understand wastewater lift stations, hydraulics, and treatment. Water infrastructureDesign water infrastructure using a thorough understanding of water quality, treatment standards, hydraulics, chemical systems, and treatment processes.Qualifications:
Must hold a valid bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering. Degrees in Civil, Civil-Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering are preferred.Minimum 5 years’ experience in consulting engineering, specifically in water/wastewater engineering area of practice. Candidates with less experience may be considered subject to specific experience and skillsets.Experience in consulting engineering, specifically in water and wastewater areas of practice.Must be in good standing with APEGA as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
