Responsibilities Perform engineering work in various engineering fields (water and wastewater treatment, and engineering services during construction)Assist with daily utility operationsWork on engineering designsCheck submittals for performance or conformity with plans and specificationsAssist with the preparation of reports and other deliverablesData entry and analysisParticipate in field activities such as site investigations and pilot testing Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalentFinishing or completed junior year of collegeCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering fieldStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience and/or coursework in water/wastewater treatment and conveyancePrevious related internship experience a plus, but not requiredPassed or scheduled for the FE/EIT examExperience using CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, Sketch Up) Pay Range$20.00 to $29.00 per hour dependent upon education, which is the specific factor in setting intern pay. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
