Water/Wastewater Master Planning Engineer
Freese and Nichols is currently seeking an Engineer with a background in Water/Wastewater Master Planning and Hydraulic Modeling for our Pearland or Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will have technical competencies to perform tasks with oversight, exhibit self-management and eager to grow technically as well as develop project management skills. Support projects, such as: integrated master plans, water distribution and sewer collection system hydraulic evaluations, water quality in distribution systems and asset management. Working with utilities to solve complex issues and develop system-wide plans. Will utilize hydraulic modeling and technical analyses, draft technical reports, and meeting materials. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

2+ years of related experience in Civil/Environmental Field

Successful completion of the FE exam with ability to obtain EIT registration within 3 months of hire date)

Experience with hydraulic modeling software, such as Innovyze products (InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM SE, InfoSewer, InfoSWMM, H2OSURGE, InfoAsset Planner) or Bentley products (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, Hammer)

Experience with GIS applications in water and wastewater planning

Preferred:

Experience with data management/analytics and codingMasters Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
