CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Sr Engineer Project Manager to join our Infrastructure – Water/Wastewater Team at our Coral Springs, FL office.
YOUR IMPACTClean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.
At CHA, the Water/Wastewater Sr Engineer Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. These individuals are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure.
The Water/Wastewater Sr Engineer Project Manager coordinates contracts with the clients and subcontractors, manages purchase orders, and oversees all other project related documents. The professional in this role is responsible for all project financials and subcontractor payments, clearly communicates updates to the client, management, and project team, and attends monthly project review meetings with operations.
The Water/Wastewater Sr Engineer Project Manager develops project specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for verifying that projects meet required QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering requiredProfessional Engineer License (PE) requiredMinimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience is required, including water/wastewater experienceExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practicesAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)Understands QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineeringAbility to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment; proven ability to lead a teamEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences Proficiency with MS Office software requiredActive role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred SALARY RANGE:$100,000 - $120,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
