Waterjet Programmer & Operator - Experienced

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Waterjet Programmer & Operator to join our growing team.

This position is located on-site inSedro-Woolley, Washington State.

POSITION DESCRIPTION 

Determines methods, cutter types and cutting parameters depending on a variety of materials (composites, epoxies, steel, aluminum, etc.) and design specifications Designs 3-D computer models, drawings and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements Creates 3-5 axis tool paths utilizing Unigraphics CAD/CAM software Provides input in production tracking software. Works with process engineers on planning of manufacturing process to ensure that quality and design objectives are achieved. Creates shop documentation for setup of the machines complying with ISO 9000 standards. Works in other Cells to support Production as required, ie; Mold Fab or Assembly Cells Analyzes laser-tracking data to assure quality of the setup, when applicable. Works with the machinists to make sure setup and machining procedures are followed. Properly executes Hazardous Material Disposal activities Compliance with 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap Standards and Practices Performs other duties as assigned. Behavior: The incumbent must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.  The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors. 

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).  Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN OR LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENT FOR THIS POSITION. 

Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required, college level or trade school education preferred. One or more years of experience in related field may be substituted for education.  Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Wage range for this role is between $25 and $49 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
