About the role

The Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a Barback who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of Aloha. The Barback position provides assistance with cultivating an expertly served beverage or dining experience; anticipating the guests’ needs and is an expert on the menu options.

What you will do

To serve guests in a warm, accommodating and professional way, making sure the guest is 100% satisfied.Communicate with guests, including the menu and all other requests.Using menu knowledge and expertise, recommend items to guests based upon their needs.Keep the Bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins and all other necessary items before and during service hours.Prepare recipe batches, garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs and restock napkins and straws.Clean up the spills, remove the glassware and organize the counter.Keep the Bar area and back of house neat and clean and execute daily and weekly cleaning tasks.Coordinate with Managers, Bartenders and Stewards to ensure efficient service to guests.

What you bring

Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years previous experience in a similar environment and have a solid knowledge of food and beverage, including local cuisine, and/or Asian cuisines.Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.Service Passion.Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills.Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Schedule & Hours:

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
