Watersports Team Member (fixed-term) With up to 200 indoor and outdoor activities available, Center Parcs is the perfect place for families to try something new together. The Leisure team plays a key role in ensuring families feel confident, safe and happy during their activity, whatever their age or ability.There are many opportunities in the Leisure team, and our offering of activities continues to grow. From donning an eye patch in Pirate and Princess Adventure, to whizzing around a track in Quad Bike Safari or scaling the forest canopy in Aerial Adventure, our focus is on delivering a quality experience that guests will remember, whether its their first or fiftieth time.WATERSPORTS TEAM MEMBER 13.70 per hourWe are currently looking to recruit Watersports Team Members to assist in the day to day running of our busy Watersports department.Responsibilities will include:Helping with setting up beach side activitiesHiring out of wet suitsPayment handling and operating the tillManning the Adventure Golf kioskThe ideal candidates will have excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.Please note that to apply for a role with us, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longford Forest, as it is not easily accessible by public transport. If you plan to use public transport, please follow this link for a realistic overview of your commute: Plan Your JourneyHOURS OF WORKYou will be contracted to work 90 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.ABOUT YOUEssential requirements:Good communication skillsPrevious experience of working in a customer service environmentFriendly, genuine, and warm towards guests and colleaguesWorks well in a teamDesirable requirements:Able to use computer systemsWillingness to undertake relevant Watersports qualifications (i.e., Powerboat Level 2) to aid in succession planning within the departmentABOUT THE BENEFITSCenter Parcs is a fantastic place to work and the benefits are as impressive as they are unique.
