Wayleave Officer - Scotland

Wood is recruiting for a Wayleave Officer to join Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd entity focusing on negotiating and resolving wayleave, easement, and lease issues due to significant growth across our transmission and distribution business. The Wayleave Officer will assist in the creation of detailed drawings for accommodation works, land boundaries, access routes, and necessary permissions while coordinating with the Client’s Wayleave Officer and grantors to ensure positive relationships and address any program changes or inquiries.

This role is site based primarily in the Scottish central belt region with long term project sites based in Argyll and Bute supporting our client SSE. This opportunity is a site-based position, we have works issued under various frameworks which mean the position is UK wide. You will need to be flexible in your work location as you will be away from home for periods of time and will travel and work across the UK.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction and/ or Site Manager, the role involves assisting in the creation of detailed drawings and maintaining effective communication with clients and authorities, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, coordinating permissions and access for sites, and facilitating inspections and documentation reviews.
