Job Summary:
The Claims Manager assigns and directs all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation. You will manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
Meet Company goals and metrics
Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
Schedule team manager meetings as a group and one-on-one meetings at a minimum once a month, document all discussions for follow up as needed.
Bring out the best of personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation
Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
Schedule team manager meetings as a group and one-on-one meetings at a minimum once a month, do Works with affiliate companies and ensures team members are engaging with the companies with common goal of working towards company success.
Develop network for staffing forecasting

Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly, and ensure direct reports do the same
Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
Network to improve the presence and reputation of the company
Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
Participates in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.
Qualifications /Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, science or other related discipline or associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
At least five years of experience in industry business development and/or research and development arena.
At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
At least 5 years of working in Worker’s Comp and/or Insurance Industry
Proven branch management experience, or similar role
Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
Excellent organizational skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
