The approximate dates of this internship is **June 2025** **to January 2026** and will be located in either **Glendale, CA** or **Orlando, FL** .
**What You Will Do**
We are looking for a Project Engineering intern who will be responsible for the technical coordination and integration of the Design and Planning (D&P) disciplines during the course of a specific project, land, or park including coordination of D&P efforts with Creative, Show and Ride Studios! As an intern on the team, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Assist Project Engineer or Design Manager in the architecture and facilities engineering project coordination and integration from conceptual design through construction of themed entertainment projects
+ Assist in facilitating technical coordination of A/E design documents, models, specs, basis of design among D&P disciplines and across WDI Divisions (Creative, Show and Ride) and in consideration of programmatic requirements (Operational Stakeholders)
+ Assist in organizing and facilitatingbig room/Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE) sessions and design reviews
+ Assist with quality assurance and control, both with design documentation as well as field construction
+ Assisting in the resolution of questions arising from construction documents, field conditions and contractor requests for information
+ Track of facility punch lists
+ Coordinate document release process between disciplines and document control specialist (plot coordination, repro and digital/physical distribution)
+ Provide technical input to other project team members as required to assist with project decision-making and settling of contractor change orders
+ Resolve questions arising from construction documents, field conditions and contractor requests for information
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
+ Working knowledge of Building Information Management (BIM)
+ Knowledgeable in the use of computer technology in the CADD generation of drawings
+ Experience working with punch lists in a construction environment
**Education**
Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree majoring in Engineering, Architecture, or similar
**Eligibility Requirements & Program Information**
**Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet** **all of** **the below requirements:**
+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Possess unrestricted work authorization
+ Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
**Additional Information**
+ Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
+ Must be fully available for the duration of the internship
+ Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship in Glendale, CA

The pay rate for this role in California and Florida is $30 per hour for undergraduate students and $35 per hour for graduate level students.
