As a Wealth and Asset Management Consulting Senior Manager, your role is pivotal in advancing our capabilities and achieving the strategic objectives of our dynamic Financial Services Consulting team. By leveraging your skills, leadership capabilities, and industry knowledge, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic solutions, driving client growth, and supporting the overall success of our consulting engagements within the wealth management industry.  Here’s how your expertise and leadership will contribute to our success: 

Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Wealth Management, Asset Management, Investment Banking, and Market Infrastructure clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction. Build and maintain long-term relationships by understanding clients' needs, goals, and challenges in the wealth management industry. 

Consultative Sales & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and lead efforts to grow existing footprint and expand the client base within the sector. Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that align with client objectives, ensuring growth and retention. You will own the proposal process from origination through to proposal submission, orals, and closing the deal. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work closely with global leaders across Cloud, Data and Analytics, Application Modernization, Technology Infrastructure, Product Design & Engineering, and Business Process Outsourcing to design and execute differentiated and cost-efficient solutions for our clients.  

Project Oversight & Delivery: Manage consulting projects and engagements, ensuring timely delivery and quality results. Oversee the coordination of resources and project timelines while maintaining consistent client communication throughout the process. 

Industry Platforms and Technology Knowledge: Bring SME knowledge from working with, implementing, and integrating various industry-specific platforms, products, and technologies.

This role is central to maintaining and expanding our client relationships, ensuring that we consistently provide high-quality, tailored solutions that deliver real value to those we serve.

Build and nurture client relationships: You will develop strong, long-lasting partnerships with high-net-worth clients, becoming their go-to resource for comprehensive wealth management solutions. You’ll engage with clients to deeply understand their unique goals, challenges, and financial aspirations. 

Lead complex consulting projects: You will oversee and manage wealth management consulting projects, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution, meet deadlines, and exceed client expectations. Your leadership will be crucial in driving results that align with clients’ financial goals. 

Drive business growth: By identifying new opportunities and engaging in business development efforts, you’ll help expand our client base and deepen our market presence. You will contribute to the growth of the firm by understanding the evolving needs of your clients and offering solutions that address these needs.  

Stay ahead of industry trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in wealth management, asset management, and investment banking trends. Provide thought leadership through presentations, market insights, and industry reports that add value to client engagements. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

9+ years experience working within and/or consulting for the Financial Services industry with in-depth knowledge of the business, technologies, and operations of the Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Investment Banking industries 

2+ years of experience in business development within the consulting industry, including market expansion and partnerships, and developing tailored consulting solutions that meet client needs and drive value for the practice 

Experience working with financial services products and technologies from an end-user and/or implementation perspective 

Experience leading complex projects and teams on technology and non-technology transformation programs 

 

Preferred Skills:  

MBA 

Big 4 or equivalent Management Consulting experience  

Industry product experience including platforms such as: Pershing, Broadridge, Beta, NFS, Envestnet, SS&C, SEI, SimCorp, Bloomberg, Eagle, GoldenSource, Murex, Calypso, Charles River, State Street Alpha, Aladdin, Fintech platforms, etc. 

Product experience with those prevalent throughout the financial services ecosystem such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $146,775.00-$270,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.  This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
