Team:
The Investment Solutions Strategy team is responsible for partnering with the various business lines to drive and execute on the overall strategies of the product organization and the Firm to retain and deepen relationships at MSWM. Business lines include Traditional Investment Products, Insured Solutions, Capital Markets, Alternative Investments, and Advisory. The team interacts cross-functionally across all Investment Solutions business lines, partner teams, and senior management.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Ability to synthesize large data sets/complex problems and create recommendations or solutions Explore new business opportunities, including key initiatives in regards to potential net new asset opportunitiesLeverage data and analytics tools to build various reports / dashboards and provide meaningful insights around client, advisor, product and overall market trends to senior management and product teamsSpearhead quantitative and qualitative ad hoc analyses requested by senior management (e.g., excel modeling, Power Point presentations, meeting talking points, etc.)Support product teams on key initiatives, as well as ensure the product area is appropriately plugged into firm-wide initiatives and leveraging new Wealth Management tools technology to drive businessPartner or consult with product, sales, relationship management and marketing teams to identify and execute on opportunities to increase advisor, client and asset penetration levels across wealth management and provide insights and metrics for tracking against campaign/growth targetsSupport products and services integration efforts as it relates to ETRADE and Eaton Vance and uncover / execute on future state opportunities (i.e., product expansion efforts)Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) provides a range of wealth management products and services for affluent individuals, businesses, and institutions. Organized and capable of multi-tasking several responsibilities in a fast-paced settingStrong experience working with Data Platforms Tools such as Dataiku, Tableau, BusinessObjects, etc.Ability to partner with cross functional teams, such as Data Analytics, Technology, Finance, Research, Legal, Risk, Compliance, etc.The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, innovative and an independent thinker with drive to learn new areas of the Wealth Management businessHighly proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong Excel and Power Point skills)Strong communication and presentation skillsPrior experience working in wealth management is a plusMinimum Requirements: BS / BA degree with at least 3 years of experience in financial servicesExpected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
