As an Account Opening Analyst within the Wealth Management line of business, you will be tasked with the maintenance of existing brokerage accounts. Your main duty will involve data input for Suitability and Trading capabilities. This includes submitting client suitability updates based on the review of client documentation and instructions provided by the client and/or the Investment Teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for adding or enabling products/services to execute trades as per client or internal business partner instruction. This role demands a high level of discipline, meticulous attention to detail, and a robust control mindset. You will be expected to adhere to the guidelines set by FINRA and the SEC.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and interpret client documentation for brokerage account maintenance Perform suitability updates based on client or partner instructions Research documentation to ensure accurate suitability (FINRA Rule 2111 / SEC 17A3) Authenticate instructions from authorized account holders Identify and prefill documentation for client review and execution Diligently maintain outlined policies and procedures Serve as the first line of defense for escalations Assist with team projects and initiatives Run basic reports and analyze trends Review metrics and take necessary actions Promote a controls environment to mitigate riskRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
