As a Wealth Management Credit Risk Due Diligence - Associate within the Risk Management and Compliance team, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. In this role you are part of the Credit Risk Custom Underwriting team, a center of excellence designed to handle custom credit solutions for high net worth team members. As a member of the team, you will work in conjunction with Lending Specialists and Credit Executives to provide credit solutions within a diverse portfolio of products and collateral types.

Job responsibilities

Identifiy risk for Custom Credit Underwriting practices within Wealth Management Risk.  Review Quality to validate the effectiveness of grading and risk analysis as well as adherence to policies, procedures and regulations, where applicable.  Analyze transactions and identifying risks/gaps including determining differences and/or inconsistencies, across various products and global regions.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Bachelors’ degree and previous consumer and commercial lending experience Experience in loan review/audit, wholesale credit approval and/or credit delivery At least 5 years’ experience in Auditing, Accounting, Internal Control and/or Credit Underwriting with focus on Wholesale Credit Risk Knowledge of financial principles and procedures; strong background in the Financial Services Industry Working understanding of credit risks and related controls Ability to follow complex methods and procedures in diverse tasks Experience with Credit Risk infrastructure tools and applications (iCRD, Loan IQ, Connect, etc) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Highest level of professionalism, ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner Strong time management, problem solving, written and oral communication skills Ability to work well individually and in teams, share information and support colleagues

Knowledge and understanding of the private client business is preferred.
