Wealth Management - KYC Quality Control - Analyst (1-year Fixed Term Contract)

Quality Control is part of the Asset & Wealth Management Operations Team supporting all aspects of client Onboarding to include the fulfilment of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements for the Wealth Management division of JPMorganChase. 

As an Analyst within the KYC Quality Control team, you will be responsible for ensuring all client KYC records comply with regulatory standards. Your role will involve ensuring the high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements at the onset and renewal of client relationships. We are currently seeking candidates who are eager to contribute to their career growth through an exciting opportunity to work on a project aimed at uplifting existing client records and data to meet the current KYC standards required for Source of wealth corroboration. 

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 1 year only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment. 

Job responsibilities:

Validate source of wealth corroboration according to firm guidelines. Review of client documentations in accordance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with compliance and control function where it relates to regulatory audits / requests / initiatives. Represent the team and participate in KYC/AML related discussions with the front office teams  Share information, knowledge and expertise with peers and team members.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor’s Degree  At least 1 year of experience in AML/KYC, Customer Due Diligence, risk management, audit or compliance, with focus on KYC/AML. Broad knowledge of rules and regulations for various Asia jurisdictions (particularly in Hong Kong and Singapore), with focus on KYC/AML. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is the norm and ability to handle escalations and drive to resolutions. Ability to identify and focus on issues at a holistic level and yet be detailed oriented and independence in thinking when analyzing. Ability to handle escalations and drive to resolutions. Excellent communication skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Knowledge of Private Banking/Wealth Management business. Proficiency in written and verbal Mandarin as you will be expected to review documents in Chinese to support China clients.
