Wealth Relationship Manager

The Wealth Relationship Manager (WRM) works closely with the Wealth Relationship Officer (WRO) and the service teams to build meaningful relationships with high value clients. Professionalism client focus, and understanding of the fundamentals of wealth planning will be key as the WRM acquires, develops, advises, and retains a portfolio of clients.

As the Wealth Relationship Manager, you will:

Build deep, long-lasting and mutually valuable relationships in which you will provide financial solutions and opportunities to your portfolio of clientsMaintain the highest standard of excellence in developing strategies to increase wallet share of existing clients and identifying product opportunities within the business through regularly collecting, updating and analyzing client financialsConduct full needs assessments with current and potential wealth customers and recommend appropriate banking, investment and insurance products and services to meet individual needs, based on objectives, risk tolerance and proper asset allocationsRepresent the company in community organizations and activities to enhance the Company's image and maintain and grow a referral network for additional relationship opportunities while maintaining an active prospect pipelineHelp with business development through existing relationships and COI’s (certificate of insurance) will also be expected

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $76,344.00 and $200,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Meaningful experience in nontraditional banking financial sales, providing client recommendations and increasing sales, and building and maintaining valuable relationships with high-net-worth client portfoliosExpert knowledge in wealth planning and wealth products, the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments, and of external regulatory framework relevant to wealth managementStrong client focus and ability to deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skillsAbility to demonstrate strong relationship deepening skills with existing client base to build and grow relationships and develop referral sourcesStrong business development skills to work with outside COI’s to develop self-sourced businessSelf-Motivated and Self-driven individual with strong relationship and communications skillsGood understanding of how to work with Compliance, Credit Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environmentSeries 7, 66 (in lieu of 63 and 65), California Life and Health insurance licenses requiredForeign language skills, such as Mandarin and/or Cantonese are required
