Wearable Telemetry Tech Lead
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience with software development in Java. + Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python). + Experience with the Android Apps. Preferred qualifications: + Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. + 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms. + 3 years of experience in collecting, analyzing, modeling, managing, or visualizing data or collaborating with data science/product analysts. + Experience for data analytics and visualization. + Experience in working with Kotlin. In this role, you will configure, maintain, develop and own systems that collect data from the devices, send it to Google back-ends, sanitize the data and organize the data for it to be visualized by dashboards or queried by analysts and other engineers. You will build and own internal-facing dashboards and tooling to make the data insights more accessible for product leads so that they can make decisions growing the ecosystem of Wear Operating System (OS) based devices and apps.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.
