Details Title Weatherhead Scholars Program Practitioner Fellows School Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area Weatherhead Center for International Affairs Position Description The Weatherhead Scholars Program (http://scholarsprogram.wcfia.harvard.edu/) at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University invites applications for visiting practitioner fellows, to join its annual cohort of 20-25 members, comprised of postdoctoral fellows, visiting scholars, and practitioner fellows. These one-year research positions aim to support professional practitioners and are intended to facilitate research in the social sciences on international, comparative, transnational, and global issues. The Weatherhead Scholars Program accepts 5-10 practitioners each academic year.This is a residential program; participants are expected to be on campus during the fellowship (late August to mid-May), and to partake in the weekly Weatherhead Scholars Seminar. Practitioners have shared office space at 61 Kirkland St. If desired, they may audit a course and/or participate in research clusters and seminars across the university. Practitioners may also request an undergraduate research assistant. There are limited funding opportunities available. Please see website for information on administrative fees for participation. Basic Qualifications Eligible applicants must take a leave from their full-time permanent position in order to participate in the WSP .
