About the Position:
As a Web Analytics & CRO Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing the user experience and improving conversion rates across our digital properties. Additionally, you will be responsible to measuring and reporting on various web properties to internal clients and stakeholders. Working closely with the Director of Marketing Analytics, you will leverage data analytics, user behavior insights, and testing methodologies to enhance website performance, drive engagement, and maximize conversions.
This role requires a data-driven mindset, deep expertise in website analytics, and hands-on experience with A/B testing and optimization strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally with UX/UI designers, developers, product managers, and marketing teams to ensure that website experiences are seamless, engaging, and conversion-friendly.
Role Description & Responsibilities:
Website Experience Analytics & Insights
Analyze user behavior, website interactions, and customer journeys to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
Utilize web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics strongly preferred) to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as bounce rate, engagement, session duration, and exit rates.
Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand the impact of page speed, content layout, mobile responsiveness, and UX/UI elements on user experience.
Work with development teams to monitor website performance metrics and ensure an optimal browsing experience across devices and platforms.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Develop and execute A/B and multivariate testing strategies to improve website engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates.
Implement data-driven recommendations to optimize landing pages, form submissions, navigation, and checkout experiences.
Identify and leverage behavioral analytics tools (VWO Screen Record, Hotjar, Crazy Egg) to track user interactions and heatmaps for usability improvements.
Partner with the Design team to test and refine CTA placements, messaging, page layouts, and navigation paths for maximum conversions.
Monitor and report on test results, identifying significant trends and making actionable recommendations.
Personalization & Customer Journey Optimization
Leverage audience segmentation and behavioral insights to create personalized user experiences that drive higher engagement and conversion rates.
Collaborate with digital marketing teams to align website optimization efforts with paid media, SEO, and email marketing campaigns.
Utilize tools like VWO, Optimizely, or LaunchDarkly to develop dynamic, personalized website experiences based on visitor intent and behavior.
Data & Reporting
Create dashboards and automated reports to track website performance, testing results, and CRO metrics.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Work closely with development and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, tagging implementation, and tracking consistency.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics, statistics, computer science, psychology, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, digital marketing analytics, or website performance analysis.
Analytics & CRO Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Analytics strongly preferred (Google Analytics, Optimizely also considered), VWO, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, or similar tools.
A/B Testing Experience: Hands-on experience designing and executing A/B and multivariate tests, with a strong understanding of statistical significance and test design.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development concepts is a plus.
User Experience Understanding: Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and how they impact conversion rates.
Marketing & Funnel Optimization Knowledge: Understanding of digital marketing metrics (CPC, CTR, ROAS, LTV) and customer journey mapping.
Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tests and experiments simultaneously while maintaining data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo).
Knowledge of psychological principles influencing user behavior and decision-making.
Understanding of SEO, paid media, and email marketing best practices.
