Job Description To be successful in this role, you must combine the art of design with the art of programming. You play a critical part in bridging the gap between visual design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the product looks as well as how it works.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Interaction:

Understand and gather client requirements.Communicate effectively with clients to discuss project goals and objectives.Present design ideas and concepts to clients and incorporate their feedback.

Research and Planning:

Conduct research on the target audience and industry trends.Plan the overall design approach based on the project requirements.

Design Conceptualization:

Create wireframes and mockups to visualize the layout and structure of the website.Develop design concepts that align with the client's branding and goals.

Graphic Design:

Design graphics, images, icons, and other visual elements for the website.Choose appropriate color schemes, fonts, and imagery to enhance the user experience.

User Experience (UX) Design:

Focus on creating a positive and intuitive user experience.Ensure the website is easy to navigate and user-friendly.

User Interface (UI) Design:

Design the visual interface elements, including buttons, forms, and interactive components.Maintain consistency in design elements throughout the website.

Coding and Development:

Convert design concepts into HTML, CSS, and other coding languages.Collaborate with developers to ensure the design is implemented correctly.

Testing:

Conduct usability testing to identify and fix any issues with the design.Test the website across different browsers and devices to ensure compatibility.

Documentation:

Maintain documentation of design processes, decisions, and guidelines.

Time Management:

Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Information Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field

2+ years of relevant work experience in creating and implementing UX strategy, UI design, or related work

2+ years of relevant work experience iN SEO

Extensive experience with Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, CSS, SASS, HTML5

Experience on either of the notable Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue

Proficient understanding of front-end development design patterns and web components (having knowledge of StencilJS is a plus!)

Proficient understanding of JSON

Proficient understanding of Javascript compilers/build tools such as NPM and WebpackJS, Gulp, Grunt, ViteJS, etc…

Good understanding of cloud computing technologies (AWS)

Proficient understanding of CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and code versioning tools such as Git and SVN

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

Good understanding of asynchronous web development such as callbacks, promises, and async/await

Good understanding of animation files, such as Lottie (ability to convert those files is a BIG plus!)

Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them

Proficiency in using Figma and FigJam or any design platform
