Job Seekers, Please send resumes to resumes@hireitpeople.com Complete Description: TAX seeks a contractor to lead agency personnel in researching, planning, and redesigning theagency’s overall web presence. This effort will result in multiple deliverables, including a siteroadmap to allow the agency to progress from a website and web applications, to a webpresence and portal. It will include a design and design language that allows for thedevelopment of a complete yet lightweight and flexible structure that improves the userexperience of the agency’s online resources (on the website, on social media and otherinteractive spaces).
The new design should promote a presentation of content and actions in a clear, simplemanner that efficiently guides the user to what they need. It should specify a consistent lookand feel, user interface and user experience that can be used across all modes of TAX’s webpresence and be flexible and responsive for all view port sizes (desktop to mobile). In addition,the design language should define a content writing style that clearly and conciselycommunicates with the user.
A style guide for the Tax website will specify exact attributes like color, font, button styles, etc.based on the design language guidelines.A map will demonstrate the association of the agency website with the web applications toprovide a seamless user experience.An appropriate level of usability testing should be conducted to ensure the new design exceedsthe current website in efficiency and accessibility.
Research and Planning:1. Review existing website and web application assets, functionality, content and structure2. Review current online presence (site, applications, social media, search engine relevance, UI/UX)3. Assess baseline traffic and ranking4. Meet with client to review analysis of the existing web presence and review theneeds/requirements of the new design.5. Prepare and review map of a redesigned TAX website to act as a portal to our online services6. Define clear, concise content and flow requirements with client.7. Discuss and document call to actions and navigationDetailed list of the technology used (i.e. HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, javascript, etc.)9. Comprehensive style guide10. Page mock-ups11. Working prototype12. Map of how website and web applications can link/associate for a more seamless userexperience13. Usability test results14. Any custom graphics and/or stock images used in new design15. New design will be fully owned by client16. Client sign off on design
